Carrie’s passion for baking started at a young age. After learning how to make “chocolate chip cookies” from her friend’s mother at age 6, she would spend countless weekends trying to perfect her recipe, almost burning down her uncle’s kitchen at one point. Cooking runs in her genes – her grandfather was a great chef and restaurateur and it comes naturally to her. After moving back to Hong Kong from attending Design school in America, she continued her baking on weekends and often shared her baked goods with friends. The generous feedback and continuous support encouraged her to start taking orders from the general public. A self-taught baker, her decorating skills and techniques are like no other in the market today, often implementing innovative techniques inspired by her years at Design school.
